Terms of use

1. Who can use RunLive

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country if that is higher, to use RunLive. If you are under 18 you need a parent or guardian's permission. By using the app you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign in secure. Tell us at support@runlive.app if you think someone else has used it. Keep your profile honest: use your own name or a handle, your own photo, and do not pretend to be someone else.

3. RunLive Stride

Free accounts get free runs without limit and four starts a month of each of the Zenith, Ghost and Live run modes. RunLive Stride is a subscription that unlocks unlimited Zenith, Ghost and Live runs. It costs $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year, billed through Apple to your Apple ID.

Stride renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. You manage and cancel it in your Apple subscription settings, not in the app. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep Stride until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies, and we cannot issue them directly. Prices may change; if they do, Apple will tell you before the new price applies and you can cancel.

4. Live Runs and the community

Live Runs put you in voice chat with other runners. Treat them the way you would treat someone running beside you. In a Live Run, in clubs and anywhere else in RunLive you must not:

RunLive may remove content, suspend or remove users who break these rules, with or without warning, at our judgement. If someone is making a Live Run unpleasant, email support@runlive.app and tell us what happened.

5. Running safety

You are responsible for your own safety when you run. Pay attention to your surroundings, follow local law, including traffic and trail rules, and run within your own ability and health. Zenith's guidance, pace targets, heart rate figures and anything else the app says are information to help your run, not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting or changing an exercise programme, and stop if you feel unwell. GPS, heart rate and distance readings can be wrong; do not rely on them for anything where accuracy matters to your safety.

6. Your content and ours

Your runs, profile and anything you post remain yours. You give RunLive, Inc a licence to store, process and show that content as needed to run the app, including showing it to the clubs and people you choose. RunLive itself, including the app, Zenith's voice and character, the design, the name and the logo, belongs to RunLive, Inc or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use it only as these terms allow. Music is played from your own Apple Music library under Apple's terms.

7. Third party services

RunLive works with Apple Health, Apple Music, Sign in with Apple and Google, and optionally Strava. Each of those services has its own terms and privacy policy, which apply when you use them. We are not responsible for those services. How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.

8. No warranty

RunLive is provided as is and as available. We work hard to keep it running well, but we do not promise that it will be error free, uninterrupted or suit your particular purpose, and we do not promise any particular result from running with it. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RunLive, Inc and its officers, employees and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. This includes injury or loss during a run. Our total liability to you for any claim connected with RunLive is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as the law permits.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using RunLive at any time and delete your account in Settings or by emailing support@runlive.app. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the service. Sections 6, 8, 9 and 11 survive any ending of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you agree to their jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to something different.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms as RunLive changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is significant we will let you know in the app before it takes effect. Using RunLive after a change means you accept the new terms.
